- Backup your vehicle to the dock. Please wait in line and in your vehicle until there is a spot for you to backup to the dock.
- Do not unload your deer until we have filled out your cutting instructions.
- Please have your deer tag from the ODNR already filled out and bring it inside with you, or make sure to have the ODNR confirmation number with you when you come in.
- Bring your $40 cash or check deposit.
- Before you leave, we will place the cutting instructions that we filled out together inside the chest cavity of your deer. This will identify your deer to insure you get the right one back and how you want it cut.
- Please do not approach the house at this address under any circumstances.
Our process is relatively straight forward, but if you haven’t used a deer processing company before, some folks want to know how we handle your deer. Obviously, the first thing we do upon drop-off is confirm the freshness of the deer. Then, we will field dress the deer by removing the internal organs and examining the deer to make sure it is free from any and all contaminants.
We then hang the deer so it can age, which ensures better flavor and tenderness. We keep it in our refrigerated area to ensure the temperature and humidity are carefully controlled. This typically takes a few days to a week.
Once the deer has time to age, the Duma Deer Processing Company has skilled butchers who remove and hide and process the deer into various cuts such as steaks, roasts, and ground meat. Our precision equipment makes this process efficient while maximizing the premium cuts. Our team also trims any fat and connective tissue to give you the best cuts we can get.

We label it with the date and type of cuts to make it easy for your family to consume it. If you ordered any additional services such as adding seasoning or making sausage, that will be identified on the packaging as well.
